The celebration of St. John Bosco’s feast takes place on the closest Sunday to January 31st. In the morning, the Bishop of Gozo leads a High Mass, followed by the ceremonial blessing of pets. Later in the day, a lively procession winds through Victoria’s main streets, accompanied by a musical band. This is succeeded by a complimentary instrumental concert featuring the Gozo Youth Band, held annually in the Theater. Additionally, an annual Marian pilgrimage procession occurs on May 24th, commemorating the Feast of Mary Help of Christians.
